It took me a while to get to this because i've been in a bit of a slump these past few weeks but here I am, lol ! August was a pretty good month for me, I got to visit with some friends and family that live kinda far away that I don't get to see very often. I live sort of in the middle of nowhere, so it's just me and my boyfriend 99% of the time... Which is all well and good, but it's also good to get out every once in a while ! ^_^'
One thing I have been really excited about recently is my best friend gifted me a Tamagotchi ! It's not my first Tamagotchi, I had one of the old models when I was a little kid but I guess I was too young and dumb to figure it out, so I never really got into it, lol. But i've been watching people on Youtube show of their collections and stuff and i've been getting interested in them again. This one is a Tamagotchi Paradise, I believe the Tropical edition. I didn't really look up a guide on how to get a specific character and just let fate decide. I got this palm tree looking dude, I forget what his name is. I still have him currently and he hasn't died yet, lol. Do they still die on the newer games ? I don't even know, lol. He's a little chopped but that's okay because I think there is an option to restart with a new character. I want the cat or the frog Tamagotchi next time around !
I also just got back from visiting my mom in the city last week ! It was nice to catch up with her and go shopping at all the stores we don't have where I live. I'm trying to rework my wardrobe piece by piece currently, a lot of the things in there just don't really feel like "me" anymore if that makes sense. It was really fun to try on and buy some clothes I wouldn't otherwise have access to, as we don't have many options where I live!
One thing I got while I was there, which I swore I would never get again because it's super overhyped IMO, is Crumbl Cookie, lol. I was going to pass on Crumbl Cookie when my mom asked me if I wanted to stop by, but I checked their Instagram page and they happened to have Minecraft themed cookies that week and that was just too funny to say no to. I wanted to get the Biscoff chicken cookie but they were all sold out. They were sold out of a few flavors actually, I guess this collab was really popular ? I ended up getting this cherry blossom pig cookie instead. The cookie itself was doughy and a little dry as always with Crumbl, but the frosting was really good ! It almost tasted like cherry vanilla ice cream. So that and the novelty of it being a Minecraft themed cookie made it worth it to me, lol !
Anyways, that's it for now ! My boyfriend and I are going to the food and wine festival at Disney World later this month, which I'm super excited about !
